For over eight years, Austin Roncancio has led the firm’s Equity Research Department and plays a pivotal role in shaping firmwide investment strategy. A steadfast advocate for fundamental research and data-driven decision-making, Austin oversees the sourcing, analysis, and selection of individual securities across Quantumvest’s actively managed portfolios.
Austin’s investment approach integrates both top-down macroeconomic insight—to inform sector and thematic positioning—and bottom-up security selection, ensuring the firm identifies high-conviction opportunities while managing risk throughout every phase of the market cycle. Anunay holds an MBA in Technology Management (Finance & Business Intelligence Analytics) and a BTech in Information Technology, where he was a bronze medalist and merit holder. He also completed his MS in Business Analytics from UCLA Anderson. His career reflects a blend of academic excellence, analytical rigor, and strategic foresight. His contributions to financial research, IPO analysis, and operating systems have earned him prestigious accolades, including Best Presenter and Best Research Scholar Awards.
With over five years of experience in FinTech consulting, Anunay has held pivotal roles at Odessa, collaborating with Fortune 500 companies as a Business Analyst, Data Scientist, and Product Manager to drive business intelligence and product innovation. A passionate entrepreneur, he co-founded a high-growth business venture in 2020, generating $5M in annual revenue through strategic sourcing and market expansion. VICTOR AKHANI, CFA, MBA
Principal Architect, Quantitative Research
Vyom Akhani is a finance professional with deep expertise in algorithmic trading, quantitative strategies, and equity market analysis. With a strong foundation in financial modeling, risk management, and market research, he specializes in developing data-driven trading algorithms that optimize trade execution and enhance portfolio performance.
He hold a CFA charter, an MBA in Finance & Technology Management and a BTech. in Information Technology. Vyom integrates financial expertise with technological proficiency in Python, SQL, and quantitative analytics to design algorithmic trading strategies, backtest models, and leverage statistical analysis to identify market inefficiencies.
Passionate about the financial markets, Vyom applies quantitative research and technical analysis to navigate dynamic market conditions, developing strategies that enhance risk-adjusted returns. His ability to combine market insights with algorithmic execution positions him at the intersection of finance and technology, driving innovation in systematic trading and equity research.
